Editorial Policy
The rules ExpertCamRating writes by, in plain language. If we ever break one of these, please email [email protected] with details so we can fix it on the record.
1. Independence
No paid placement. No platform on ExpertCamRating has paid for inclusion, paid for a higher position, or paid to remove a negative point. Where an affiliate relationship exists, we say so on the page where the link appears.
2. Affiliate links do not buy ranking
Affiliate compensation is the primary way ExpertCamRating funds itself. The presence or absence of an affiliate link has zero effect on a platform's score in our rankings. The five-criteria methodology is applied identically to platforms with and without affiliate relationships. See /affiliate-disclosure/ for the current list of platforms we have an affiliate relationship with.
3. Corrections process
If a fact on ExpertCamRating is wrong, we correct it inline and add a note at the bottom of the page documenting what changed and when. We do not silently rewrite published material. Send corrections to [email protected]; we respond within five working days.
4. Adult-content rules
ExpertCamRating publishes editorial coverage of adult-entertainment platforms. We do not publish adult content itself — no nudity, no explicit imagery, no live cam embeds. The site is RTA-labelled and uses standard adult-content rating meta. External links to platforms we review may contain adult material; those links are marked.
5. Age restriction
You must be at least 18 years old (21 where required by local law) to use ExpertCamRating. We do not knowingly serve users under 18. Users found to be under 18 will be banned from the site permanently.
6. Data and update schedule
Every platform review on ExpertCamRating is re-checked at least every ninety days. The date of the most recent re-check is published at the top of every review. Pricing data, broadcaster counts, and feature claims that have not been re-verified within ninety days are flagged with a "needs re-test" note inline.
7. Source attribution
Where we cite a third-party number — a published broadcaster count, a payment-processor descriptor, an industry report — we link the source inline. Where we make a claim from our own testing, we mark it "Based on our checks" and date it.
8. What we do not write
- Sponsored content disguised as reviews.
- "Best of" lists where the order is purely affiliate-priority.
- Copy-paste summaries of competitor articles.
- Unverifiable claims about broadcaster identities or numbers.
- Anything that depicts or facilitates the depiction of minors.
